Short Bio:
 

SHARON LOMOFSKY started her career in South Africa in the 80's working on commercials with renowned directors Ian Gabriel, Keith Rose and Jonathan Taylor. She moved to New York in 1990. In 1994 she gained international recognition for her production design of Milcho Manchevski's Before the Rain. (Winner of "The Golden Lion", Venice 1994, Oscar Nomination, Best Foreign Film, 1995) She has gone on to design critically acclaimed movies such as Manny and Lo, Claire Dolan, Piñero and A Love Song For Bobby Long. Bring it On topped the box office both in the U.S. and several European countries.

Her films include The King, (Un Certain Regard, Cannes Film festival 2005), Stephanie Daley, (Winner of Waldo Salt Award, Sundance 2006), El Cantante, a Leon Ichaso movie and I Think I Love my Wife, A Chris Rock Comedy.

Her latest movies include a James Marsh documentary, Man on Wire, Sundance (2008), winner World Cinema Jury Prize for Documentary and the World Cinema Audience Award for Documentary and Assassination of a High School President, Brett Simon, Sundance (2008).

She has a Bachelor of Architectural Studies and is a member of USA local 829. She currently resides in New York. Countries worked: U.S.A, South Africa, Namibia, Macedonia, United Kingdom and Vietnam.
